A Celebration of new theatre!
Summer is approaching which means it is time for our FLAGSHIP theatre Festival SUMMERFEST! Summerfest 2006 was where it all began and this summer we are celebrating our 5th Summerfest with more plays, more performances, special events and more.
If you have been sitting on the fence about putting up your first play, or your next play, it is time to get off the fence and get creative and submit your play for SUMMERFEST 2010.
In celebration of our 5th season, there is NO submission fee and your submission can be emailed!
The great thing about Manhattan Rep is that we make it easy to put up your play. You can store all your costumes and props here - you don’t have to load in and out like at many other festivals, and our theatre is just easy to get to, (especially for Industry) easy to perform in, (our lights and sound are simple and elegant to use), we run an efficient on time house, (Your friends won’t be waiting to be seated,) and we keep our theatre CLEAN for actors and audience alike! (There is one particular theatre complex in NYC that will remain nameless that I WILL NOT GO TO for it is SOOOOOO dirty.) We clean our theatre EVERYDAY.
So get off the fence! Challenge yourself and get creative and submit your play for SUMMERFEST 2010!
